above: 44P05 35mm negative pages for films cut into strips of 4 frames; shown in an Albox Box & File Tray |
Albox 35mm negative pages are made from high archival quality 'Pro Meg' polypropylene which has passed the PAT (Photographic Activity Test of the Image Permanence Institute in Rochester, New York), and has been approved by the National Archives of Australia. Each sheet has 10 slots to hold 35mm negatives cut into strips of 4 frames each (our item 44P05), or 7 slots of 6 frames each (our item 44P11) with a memo tab facility running vertically along the outside edge of the page. Memo tabs are not included, but are available separately. Thus, each sheet will take a full roll of 36 exposures, or more than a complete roll of 24 exposures. Albox pages are ideal for creating contact proofs, since the polypropylene is clear enough to allow the negs to be printed through the sheet, thus avoiding unnecessary handling of the precious negatives. ![]() |
